Casen latched on to his second cousin, Cambree, pretty quickly. She walked around with him and held his hand. Then we convinced Brooklyn to hold Casen's hand, it was pretty cute! Casen kept saying Cambee (he couldn't say the r).
Just a little ways up the hill from our lodge was a field with a lot of horses. Marc's aunt got them to come up to us and Casen fed them some long grass. The first time we went by the horses he was a little shy but when he saw all the other kids feeding them, he wanted to try also. Then he kept trying to find more grass to feed them and he didn't want to leave.
This was our poor attempt to get a picture of all the great grandkids with their Great Grandma Cox. Needless to say they were mostly not happy about it. We will have to try again when we are there in July.
Fairview is only 30 minutes from Manti so some of us were able to go to the Mormon Miracle Pageant in Manti. Here is a picture of Marc and I in front of the Manti Temple. Marc had never been to the Manti temple so he really enjoyed seeing it for the first time. The pageant was a little old school but the message was really great!
So far we are having a great summer and I am enjoying my time off with Casen!
