It's Kirby, basketball, and more!
Last Saturday, Kirby Heybourne (he was in all the church movies like RM, Best Two Years, etc)came to Deseret Book to do a CD signing and sing a few songs! He came around 1pm and the teenage girls were lining up to see him. If anyone ever watches American Idol you remember the girl crying over Sanjaya? Yes, there were teeny boppers crying over Kirby. When he walked in they were screaming so loud and then crying. I mean, not even Casen was crying so it was pretty enjoyable. We were lucky enough to meet Kirby at a previous signing 2 years ago so instead of signing a CD, I had him sign my scrapbook page. How awesome is that!! He wrote, "The Cox family completes me." He is a very real and friendly guy. He just chatted with everyone for 2 or 3 minutes each.
We look like best buddies, huh!! Also, Kirby was talking and playing with Casen and got him to smile. It was pretty sweet!
This is my lovely brother Aaron and his family with Kirby. I just happened to run into them at the bank and had them come and meet Kirby. Aaron wanted his shirt because it was stylish! And also in case you hadn't noticed, my niece and nephew are pretty cute! That Jac sure is a fiery little red head!
The cutest little Rebel fan ever! We took Casen to the UNLV vs. BYU basketball game this week. Just so ya'll know, UNLV kicked some butt and won by 29 points. Sorry to all you BYU fans out there, but ha ha ha!!
It is hard to see in this picture but number one, I am not as fat as I look there, and number 2, our shirts say, "Real Mormons are Rebels." We always wear these shirts when we play BYU! We didn't have one of those shirts small enough for Casen, but I did find the onesie he is wearing at Wal-mart. Casen did pretty well at the game considering all the noise. It was the first time that he got startled to the point of crying. After that, I made sure to cover his ears before people started cheering too loudly. Then he was okay and he even fell asleep towards the end. Marc is so excited to have a son to share his love of sports with. They are going to another game next week while I am in class.
And finally, this is a picture I took of Casen today. He just looked so cute in this outfit, I had to share. It is so much fun to get him dressed everyday! I hope everyone is doing well. I am starting school next week and will not have as much blogging time so I apologize in advance if I don't keep it as updated. For now I need to get to bed, I am going to the Nevada Republican caucus tomorrow! Go Mitt!!!

I can blog again!
Well I sort of survived my week of no media. I had a hard time with the no phone thing, and yes it was no regular phone too. I did end up using the phone because I was having anxiety without it. I went without the television and without coming on my blog and spending unneccesary time on the computer. It was nice to start catching up on scrapbooking. I am actually a year behind and it makes me a little crazy. I started Casen's book and it is fun to see how much he has already grown in just 3 short months. There really wasn't anything new to report for the week. Casen still hasn't figured out how to roll over, but we are practicing. He is also still teething which is making it harder for him to sleep at night. He is such a happy baby though and we just love having him around. Marc can't get over how cute all his little noises are. Casen loves to squeal all the time and the other day he squealed with such a high pitch that it caused a ringing in the glass in the room. The noise surprised him, I don't think he knew exactly where it came from. I am just going to try and enjoy all my time with Casen this week because I will be going back to school next week and things will be a little crazy. Thanks for reading! I will post pictures later!

No Blogging for a Week!
Hey everyone who cares!! I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday. Today in church the Young Men and Women are beginning a media fast. Since I am involved in Young Women's, this involves me too. We are to abstain from all media until next Sunday including TV, music, cell phones, computers, and of course blogging. I am going to try my best to oblige. I plan to scrapbook a lot this week in order to get by. I need to catch up on that anyway. I thought I would get one last post in before I start my fast tomorrow. I also had to share this picture we took of Casen today. We took this picture for Casen's Uncle Shane who is on a mission right now. We wanted to show Shane that Casen wants to be a missionary too. We got his little onesie at Deseret Book, of course, and it says, Junior Missionary, Soldier in the Army of Helaman. I can't even stand how cute he looks in this little outfit. I would also like to say thanks for all the compliments on my baby-keep em coming =) Anyway, have a great week and I look forward to having my technology back in a week!

My Baby is a Big Boy!!
Yesterday, I took Casen to the doctor because he was still coughing and pretty fussy. Of course they weighed him and my baby is a chunky monkey!! He weighs 15 pounds!! I can't believe how much he has grown in only 3 months. Besides growing so much, we also discovered he is teething! Can you believe it? I kind of worried that he might teeth early because his daddy did, but I was in denial when he started drooling last week. Stay tuned for news on when the tooth actually cuts, aren't you all just dying with suspense? Anyway. It is so true that you need to cherish every moment because they really grow and change so fast. The good news is that every new change is so much fun to experience with him. He has also discovered how delicious his fingers are and he chomps on them constantly. It has helped him sleep through the night and I can appreciate that. I was actually awoken the other night by the sound of his lips smacking on his fingers so loudly. I love him so much and I am so grateful for all the cute things that he does. Well I can't talk about how great he is without a picture so below is a picture I took of him on his 3 month birthday just a couple of days ago!! And speaking of yummy hands, there is a picture of that too! MMM yummy!
